Recreation Soccer Overview

The CASA North Carolina Recreation program provides the opportunity for boys and girls to develop basic soccer skills to improve their technique in a safe, fun and positive environment. Teams are typically organized by gender, grade and by town of play. Teams practice twice per week, generally held at a community school or park, and play their games on Saturday. Game locations may require additional travel within the county, depending on the number of teams formed in each town of play.

Format

This program will be 8 weeks long, with practices being held twice a week with sessions on either Monday/Thursday or Tuesday/Friday. Weeks 1-2 will be clinic-style practices as teams are organized based on age and skill level. Games will start week 3 (Saturday April 29th) once all teams have been set, and will take place on Saturday mornings (subject to change depending on registration numbers).
