Norfolk (December 20, 2023) – Virginia Beach City FC Academy announces the Winter Futsal Academy at Norfolk Collegiate Gym (7336 Granby St, Norfolk, VA 23505).
Futsal, an indoor soccer variant played on a fast, hard surface, emphasizes technical skills. Open to ages 7-18, this program offers players of all levels a chance to improve their game during the winter.
Jimmy McCabe, Full Year Academy coach, expressed the importance of futsal for players’ development. “Futsal program is a great environment for players to improve on their technical skills in tight spaces while working creative movements of the ball,” said Jimmy, emphasizing the importance of futsal.
Each session, led by VBCFC’s professional coaching staff, includes 15-20 minutes of technical training plus futsal games.
