Jacksonville, NC (December, 22, 2023) – Casa North Carolina announces the Winter Futsal Academy at Dixon High School Gym (160 Dixon School Rd, Holly Ridge, NC).
Futsal, an indoor soccer variant played on a fast, hard surface, emphasizes technical skills. Open to ages 7-18, this program offers players of all levels a chance to improve their game during the winter.
Edwin Argueta, Full Year Academy coach, expressed the importance of futsal for players’ development. “I would have to say nothing promotes personal growth in the areas of footwork, speed of play, and field awareness like futsal does,” said Edwin, emphasizing the importance of futsal.
Each session, led by Casa’s professional coaching staff, includes 15-20 minutes of technical training plus futsal games.
