Norfolk, VA (December 13th, 2023) Virginia Beach City FC (VBCFC) hosted a highly successful tryout at Norfolk Collegiate Turf Fields in Norfolk, VA this past Saturday. The event witnessed an impressive turnout, with soccer talents from various parts of the United States to showcase their skills for a spot in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) 2024 Team.
Steven Wagoner, the President and Founder of VBCFC, expressed his enthusiasm about the turnout and the potential for the players. “We hope these players will be able to go and play in a professional environment outside of the Virginia Beach area, such as Loudon and DC United once the summer season is completed,” said Wagoner, highlighting the club’s commitment to nurturing talent and providing opportunities for players to advance in their soccer careers.
The tryout served as a platform for players to demonstrate their skills, with the hope of securing a spot in the upcoming NPSL season. VBCFC, is preparing to deliver an exciting and competitive soccer experience for fans and players alike for its 10th NPSL season.
Looking forward to maintaining the momentum, VBCFC has already announced plans to host another NPSL Tryout in March of 2024.
