Norfolk, VA (April 7th, 2025) – VBCITYFC brings in another addition to its semi-pro squad with the signing of Ryan Buckon, a skilled forward from Bethesda, Maryland. Buckon currently plays collegiate soccer at Elon University, where he has developed his skills with a natural ability to scoring.
Buckon played at FC ECNL, a top-tier youth club known for producing high-level talent. His performances quickly caught attention, earning him multiple accolades that highlight both his consistency and high-level potential.
In 2022, Buckon was recognized for his standout play with All-ECNL Regional League honors. He built on that success in 2023 with a breakout season adding All-ECNL Conference Mid-Atlantic Team, an invitation to the Florida ECNL National Selection Game, and ECNL Conference Cup.
