March 31, 2022 (Berkeley County, WV) West Virginia Soccer (Formerly West Virginia FC Panhandle) announced Ryan McDougall as their Director of Goalkeeping. McDougall is also the current Head Coach at Shepard University Men’s Soccer.
McDougall will implement a goalkeeper development program for the club that is tailored by age and skill level for all West Virginia Soccer Academy teams.
McDougall previously coached men’s soccer at University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and West Virginia Wesleyan. He has all worked with West Virginia State Soccer Association as a goalkeeper staff coach for the Olympic Development Program (ODP). Ryan McDougall competed four years at the collegiate level as a starting goalkeeper for the West Virginia Weslyan Bobcats.
