Norfolk, VA (March 24th, 2025) – For parents looking to register their child for one of our soccer teams, PlayMetrics provides a streamlined platform to simplify the process. Whether your child is joining one of our MLS NEXT or Academy program, PlayMetrics serves as the all-in-one hub for registration, scheduling, and team communication.
Step 1: Create a PlayMetrics Account
To begin, parents must create an account on the PlayMetrics Parent Portal. This can typically be accessed through a direct link provided by the club or by visiting playmetrics.com. New users should select “Sign Up” and choose “Parent” as their account type. After entering an email, creating a password, and completing basic profile details, parents will have full access to the registration system.
Step 2: Add Your Child’s Information
Once logged in, parents can add their child’s details by clicking “Add Player” or “Register Player” within the portal. This step requires key information such as the player’s name, birthdate, and gender. Based on the child’s age and club affiliation, available programs and teams will be displayed.
Step 3: Register for a Program
To officially sign up, parents should navigate to the “Club Programs” or “Registration” section and select the appropriate team or program. During this step, they will be prompted to:
- Fill out registration forms and waivers
- Provide medical information
- Upload required documents (such as a birth certificate or proof of residency, if necessary)
Step 4: Payment & Confirmation
For programs that require a registration fee, parents can submit payment directly through PlayMetrics using a credit card or other available options. After completing the registration, a confirmation email will be sent, and updates regarding team placement, practice schedules, and important announcements will be available within the PlayMetrics dashboard.
